consisting of a roller with cloth attached so the cloth can be wound onto the roller. Generally used for solar shading, light control and general decorative purposes.

Venetian blinds - These consist of
horizontal, overlapping slats which are generally either made of aluminium or timber. The slats are suspended from a headrail and supported by ladder braid or ladder tape.
